hmm guys it’s quite diff to figure out whats the problem without actually knowing what the problem is..

for compiling NS2 on ubuntu, make sure that you have all your build essentials.

i.e apt-get install build-essentials

the above site is a good place to start looking @ debugging the problem.

if you are building it from the source, look at this site: http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/ns-build.html

Anyway dudes, in my short time doing programming on Linux, I feel that Fedora has never failed me when it comes to cryptic debug errors. But I won’t say don’t use Ubuntu but be prepared to do a lil more work on finding solutions to certain build issues. Cheers!

P.S I hope to do and update of this how-to in the near future.

Nope, neither method works for me. The second method I get this error when running the modprobe command:-
WARNING: Deprecated config file /etc/modprobe.conf, all config files belong into /etc/modprobe.d/.

lsusb sees the device as a modem, but how do I get network manager to recognize it and how do I connect?

i cant fine the phm registry editor on my phone to do the tweaks, does anyone have any ideas of what i mite be doing wrong? i am sure that it was installed correctely. Did it 3 times. each time it said installed on mobile device sucsssfully. Can’t find it on Phone.

Hey, uhm im on a limited computer. My school computer more exactly, The computer ppl at school don’t know their shit. so Here’s the thing, i’ve gotten a msn virus prob from the school network, and now im sending out links to ppl. tried msn cleaner but it didn’t detect anything, can’t run msnvirus removal cuz the computer is limited as i said, could u please help?
