CNET ran an article on the toughest gadgets ever made. Nintendo Gameboy was voted the hardiest game console of all time. I can’t agree more! I still remember the time when my trusty Gameboy dropped from two storeys down the staircase and it barely had a scratch.

How did Gameboy get so tough? It was rumoured that beneath the beige skin, these classic Gameboys ain’t made of plastic. Instead, they were made from skulls Ghurkhas! No wonder it felt really painful when I got hit by the Gameboy everytime my brother and I fought for the damn machine. However, these massive hard-shells were bulky and it could only show a few colours. Though the colours aren’t comparable to handheld consoles these days, I definitely grew up happily with it.

I still have one now and in it is my all time favourite game of all — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
