Extreme gaming experience on your laptop

January 31st, 2008 · No Comments

Laptop gaming systems are getting more popular these days. Given a laptop’s portability, you could easily dump it into a laptop messenger bag and effortlessly (maybe not to everyone) carry it to a lan party. It sucks to bring your rev-ed up desktop CPU, although it would be so much cooler and extreme.

To up one’s gaming experience, Dell is introducing a dual-8800M GTX equipped laptop for its upcoming Dell XPS 1730 series. The graphic card totals a whooping 1GB of graphics memory! According to Dailytech, the Dell XPS 1730 is able to get a 3D Mark 06 score of 13, 500, which is 49% more than the mainstream gaming laptops with a dual 8700M GT GPUs.

The cost of XPS 1730 will start from $3400 USD. A price like that could get you an above average PC but it reduces portability.
