AMD is the first one to release Direct X 10.1 compatible graphics card for laptops when they announced the release of ATI Raedon mobility 3000 series today at CES. The 3000 series family consists of ATI Mobility Raedon (TM) HD 3400 series and ATI Mobility Raedon (TM) HD 3600 series. These dedicated graphic cards for notebooks will allow users to fully experience the full power of HD with through the power of the graphic processors.

Asus is said to be one of the first laptop manufacturers to adopt the 3000 series graphic cards into their state of the art laptops. The ATI Mobility Raedon (TM) HD 3000 series  will increase the graphic processing power of Asus laptops especially in its upcoming M50 and F8 notebook series.
