We have seen how popular the Eee PC is world wide and also in Singapore. Asus ups the ante with the awaited 8GB version of the Eee PC (double the storage space). The newer 8GB model will cost about US$499 and will be out late this December. The 8GB model comes with two flavours — Pearl White or Galaxy Black.

The other specs will remain the similar to what is available in the 4G model. You?l still get the small 7¨ screen, 512MB memory and a 900Mhz Celeron processor (differs from model to model). The price is however considered quite costly for the Asus Eee PC. An entry level cheap notebook can be found at that price. Then again, the market segment that Asus may be targeting could just hit the sweet spot in terms of price wise. Furthermore, the Eee PC is priced much cheaper than a 12¨ notebook.

A green Asus Eee PC was spotted online! Mobile 01 has posted pictures of this chick looking green Asus Eee PC which will available in 2008.

Unlike the Pearl White and Galaxy black models, this model comes with a different LCD notebook casing colour from the rest of the notebook´s body. The modified version of this Asus Eee PC will also be available in Sky Blue and Pink options! Simply chick-gadget!
